At our PCC meeting the other night, one of our members was saying how difficult it was to know what was happening at church and when. Hopefully this will be a more efficient way of keeping in touch. Thank you to all those in the village who are making this newsletter possible.
Most Sundays in Ashby St Ledgers there is a 9.15am Holy Communion service, which is about 50 minutes long and offers a time of worship in thanks for the week gone by and in readiness for the week ahead. Once a month, on the 4th Sunday, we have a Family Service at 4pm, which is an informal service with lots of interaction with the children. This month, however, we are holding an outside service at 9.30am on Sunday 28 June – behind the boat shop in Braunston Marina (it is the Canal Festival weekend). Please come and join us as the worship band will be playing and there will be lots to do and sing – if wet, we meet in the beer tent!
Finally, it is with great sadness that we heard of the death of Adrian Weaver, our dear friend. A really lovely person – always positive and cheerful and a valued member of
the PCC, Adrian was also church warden of St Leodegarius for a number of years. He will be dearly missed by many and our heartfelt prayers and sympathy go out to Janet and family.

This newsletter will be delivered to all homes in Ashby St Ledgers every month, and posted in prominent places in the village, including the notice boards in front of the church gates and on the tree by the Avenue gates.
